I LOVE, LOVE this book!! I have been looking for a long time to find recipes that are healthy and satisfy the sugar need!
I made the mighty blueberry muffins the other day well they all vanished within 5 minutes, so at 10pm I was making a triple quantity!
A few notes on these ones: I noticed that there is very little liquid withnin the listings of ingredients and also as I am not able to tolerate whey protein and cocout milk I used vanilla flavour pea protein isolate and almond milk as a substitue this is how I did it: I added 5 tablespoons of vanilla pea protein, 5 tablespoons of almond milk and then half a cup more of almond milk pea protein has a different consistency to whey protein they came out perfectly and just as a change I used raspberries for one batch and blueberries for the other and blackberries for the 3rd.
Just thought I would let you know my experience.
I am a gym junkie and hide out whenever I can at my local health food store so this book is an answer to all my devilish desires!!! I can still indulge and not have to worry about undoing all my hard work in the gym thank you for putting these recipes together

I also notice the higher amounts of saturated fat listed. Do all the receipes list that and are they all higherb My mom has a stent and my dad has high cholesterol so they are both on low saturated fat diets as well as the low sugar and low salt. Where are you locatedb There are many places online that have ingredients that you can buy (often for better prices than you local) so maybe you can find an online shop that sells them. I have a list of resources of where to buy certain ingredients online for good prices, but Id need to know what country youre in to help you out! As for saturated fat, not all saturated fat is bad for the heart, in fact, some of the worst fats for the heart are cheap vegetable oils that have polyunsaturated fats that go rancid, like soy, corn and canola, to name a few. Please please avoid those! All types of fat are good if it comes from good, natural, unprocessed sources, including fat from walnuts, almonds, pecans and coconuts, to name a few.There are many myths about saturated fat and cholesterol if you really want to educate yourself, I highly suggest this book by Dr. Uffe Rafnskov: Fat and Cholesterol are Good for You. Its a real eye opener and will uncover the myths surrounding these very important topics!
